Overview

Sarikoli [srh] (Sarikoy), also known as Chinese Tajik (塔吉克语), is a language spoken by the Tajiks of China. Despite of what its name may suggest, Sarikoli is not mutually intelligible with Tajik of Tajikistan (or Persian.) Sarikoli is an Eastern Iranian language which is spoken in the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County (塔什库尔干塔吉克自治县) of Xinjiang, China.
